Lifestyle Medicine/ RECIPES FOR BONES

Consider getting Dr. McDougall's book for optimum healthful eating. It is called, "The Starch Solution." Dr. McDougall's Health & Medical Center www.drmcdougall.com About Dr. McDougall; Dr. John McDougalls Story; ... Dr. McDougalls Health and Medical Center PO Box 14039 Santa Rosa, CA 95402. Phone: 1-800-941-7111 Uchee Pines Institute is a grand place to go, learn and experience Lifestyle Medicine. When I was there in the 70's, Dr. Calvin Thrash (Internist) and his wife, Dr. Agatha Thrash, (Pathologist)worked with the individuals that came there to gain a better quality of life. Consider it, if you need a live in program for a period of time.

Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital is another place I would recommend for learning optimum health principles.

Dr. Lee died in October but his associates will continue to publish information on natural hormone replacement therapy.

I repeat, these are the components that make up a good lifestyle program.  I do all of them daily!

~Drink water!

When doing Hormones or any prescription medication you need to drink alot of water to flush your system. Each morning, I drink 4 cups of water, with lemon or lime. Mid-morning 2 more cups of water. Mid-afternoon one cup of water and then with my before 6 PM meal, a cup of Grape juice or Cranberry juice. We must keep ourselves well hydrated to process concentrates!

~Breath with "JOY"

~Eat vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains and root vegetables; along with beans, seeds, and grains as your food!

~Exercise

~Sunshine (I bathe through a U.V. protected window daily; five minutes at a time)

~Temperance or self-control in what you eat and how much you eat.  This also includes every avenue of your senses:
               *Eyes- What you watch.
*Ears - What you listen to.
               *Nose- What you smell.
                Etc.,

~Rest is extremely important.  Schedule mini-vacations when you're under stress. Pat your dog's head, smell a rose, lay out and look up at the stars.  We need 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night to synthesis information so it is properly reformatted in our brain's hard  drives.  To much stimulus can create an inbalance in the mind and the body.

~Trust in the ALMIGHTY!  Each of us were created for a purpose.  Never give up! Push love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness and self-control.
